At Day's End- August 10, 2026

There are some moments that catch me by surprise.  Tonight's sunset was one of them.  I am grateful for moments like this.  Grateful for evenings when the Maker paints a scene that continually evolves as the day comes to an end.

The muted pinks and rose-colored sky. 

The pale blue clouds drifting through the bright orange sun. 

The dark silhouette of the trees. 

Then the last beams of sunlight pushing through the leaves. 

Lord thank you for artistry.  Thank You for beauty that stops me in my tracks.
