What do you see?

At first glance, it is just an old stump.

A tree that had lived its life, weathered the seasons, and eventually fell silent. As I looked and lingered a little longer, I began to see something else. The same roots that once reached deep into the earth to feed leaves and branches now stretch through the water, creating shelter for fish, insects, turtles, and countless other creatures.

Its purpose has changed, but it hasn't ended.

Sometimes creation reminds us that what looks like death is simply the beginning of a different kind of life.
